One of our absolute favorite places to go for dinner in Oak Lawn, IL is Jedi's Garden. It is about 2 blocks from us and we love it.
The food is great! It is nothing fancy, but it is a nice family style restaurant with a Greek/American theme.
My son loves the Saganaki. This is a Greek cheese that you light on fire at the table. My son won't try strange foods, but somehow he got hooked on this cheese.
The staff there are always friendly and polite and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
But the best part of all is the 2 display cases of homemade deserts! They are filled with every pastry you can imagine and unbelievably delicious!
Jedi's adds a nice touch at the end for the kiddies too. When you walk up to pay your bill, the kids can get a helium balloon and a sucker.
We really love to go here for a decent priced meal that is satisfying.
