Businiess name:  Barber National Institute

I think just about everyone in Erie knows about the Gertrude A. Barber Center. The Barber Center has offered so many options to so many special needs people, young and old, for years. A caring atmosphere that not only helps special needs people make the most of their life but they help to create an atmosphere of well-being that helps them enter the real world if at all possible. Stop by and have lunch in their restaurant. Very well priced and good food. All proceeds go towards the programs held at the center. Grab your fall mums, Easter lilies, spring flowers and much more in their greenhouse. The place is maintained by the students of the Barber Center them self and with great pride. Fair prices will entice you to come for every season! And of course the proceeds help to support this wonderful facility! Swimming classes are often offered for people who aren't actually 'special needs' and they have a nice pool that the kids can learn to swim quickly, under excellent supervision. Call and ask about the program and costs.
