Seven years ago my hubby and I got married. Classics V Banquets is located on Niagara Falls Blvd. in Amherst, NY. http://www.classicsv.com/ Classics is the *best* place to have a wedding reception. We were so impressed with the service we received both before and during our reception. We met with the banquet manager at least 2 times before the wedding to make sure all of the details were arranged. The banquet manager was very professional and willing to work with us on any concerns or requests we had.
The facility is beautiful. There are 3 large rooms in the "main" building and then the old restaurant has a very large room as well. The decor is classy and elegant. There is no need for decorations or "extras". We were going to do our own centerpieces but once we saw what they had to offer, we just went with theirs.
The food was amazing. The menu is great and there was no shortage of food. Our wedding was family style (though I'm not sure if that's still available). 7 years later, I only have fond memories of my wedding day!
I have also had a number of baby and bridal showers at Classics V. They are always accommodating and the food and decor is always perfect! The prices are reasonable.
Classics V is definitely one of the first places I'd look at to have any banquet type event.
