If you want your event to stand out from the rest, I highly suggest Pyramid Catering ( http://www.pyramidcatering.com ). I have used them to cater our wedding years ago. Until now when our friends and family recall our wedding, they unanimously talk about the how good our food was. We had guests of 100 from both out of town and local, republicans, democrats and third party. Their tastes varied from vegan to pacific islanders where a party isn't a party unless you served a pig cooked in a spit with an apple in its mouth. We wanted local northwest cuisine interlaced with my asian roots. AND, we wanted all our guests to mingle and have an opportunity to get to know each other. The solution? Our catering worked with us to accommodate our guests' every need. They worked with their vendors who cook Filipino food. We had food stations laid out throughout the rooms to accommodate the guests and encourage intermingling / networking. We had a meat station (the pig was cut-up in the back), a seafood station (the salmon and was in attendance), and a vegetarian station (the stuffed mushroom caps were great). They worked with our budget and was accommodating in every way. Kudos to Pyramid Catering for making our event extra special!
