Review content:
Pepe's is one of the few remaining bars where it's ok to smoke cigarettes inside. So if that's your thing, here's a new hangout for you. It's a place that locals seem to frequent, as it's a little hidden away, as the name implies- so many people might not know of it. You'll see the sign, a neon cowboy on a horse lassoing something, and you need to head north and you'll find it behind the antique store.
There's no back patio, the place is relatively small, so if smoke bothers you, don't come here.
Pepe's is equestrian themed, with some horse memorabilia on the walls. They have some tables and a long bar to sit at (no booths to speak of), with a friendly bartender and some nice patrons that can get quite rowdy as the night progresses. My drink is the screwdriver and they have tasty ones here, none of the gross mix that you'll sometimes get but real OJ.
They also have the megatouch, so you can get your night started drunkenly playing word and trivia games. If it's the smoky local crowd you want, you'll find them here at Pepe's.
