My daughter and I ate at Big Rapids (MI) Big Boy today after some back-to-school shopping (at Goodwill!). I was hesitant to eat there since it was awful 5-6 years ago (bad service and terrible food).
Today I was pleasantly surprised and glad we stopped instead of eating at one of the many fast-food places in town. We walked in and were greeted promptly by 4 ! of the servers,seated promptly and didn't have to wait too long for our food which was hot and delicious.Our server brought us drink refills without our asking,also.
Try Big Boy again if you haven't been in a while-You'll be happy, too! Mary
