Review content:
Okay, so I haven't been to Universal Studios, oh in twenty years. I thought it would be a blast to take my kids. Wrong! First of all, taking them after they went to Disneyland kinda ruined it. Disney does such a good job with line control and keeping you busy while in line. No such luck with Universal Studios, it was half as busy and we waited twice as long in line. The Van Helsing Ride (if you can call it that) was a horrible let down. You just walk through a vampires house with real props from the movie and someone sporadically scaring you. The Waterworld Show was fun, the stunts were great and the actors really got the audience involved. T 3 show was also good, but the ride attendant, was rude "If you are wet you won't be allowed on the ride, exit now" I kid you not, and her tone, well, it was also rude. The Mummy Ride and Jurassic Park were fun, but once again Disney's ride blew them away. The Characters were great though, and posed with my kids and really acted up their parts. Beetlejuice was hysterical and Dracula tried to bite my daughters neck. Sam wanted to take Van Helsing home! The food was good, we had El Polo Loco for lunch and Tommys on city walk for dinner. The actually tour itself had some fun parts but was lacking for the most. King Kong was disappointing as was the Mummy's Tomb site. Next time, no Universal (unless I want a Tommys burger) Knotts Berry here we come.
