Businiess name:  Landmark Crest Cinema Centre

I've been going to the Crest since I was in high school, about 8 years ago and the amazing thing is that the seats are still $3. That means that either we were getting ripped off years ago or that it was cheap to begin with and has become that much of a better deal in the mean time! Yes, as everyone knows by all the reviews here, the Crest is the famous north side theater where all tickets being $3. Not just on Tuesday afternoons or with a group of 5 more: all the time. The thing that keeps me going back to the Crest is the selection of films they have. They have a great mix of independent and foreign films that have been playing at other theaters operated by Landmark Theaters throughout the city and a few Hollywood flicks thrown in for good measure. What's great about this mix is that it still gives you a chance to see the smaller films that have done well that you have just become privy to from your best friend who told you he saw it at the Seven Gables a few weeks ago, but man, bummer, he doesn't think its playing anymore; or you can go see the big blockbuster that everyone is talking about but by no means want to shell out $9 for. The popcorn is good, free refills on large drinks and 'corn are a plus although Ive never taken advantage of it. Films also come through here pretty quickly, about 3 weeks on average I would say. The seats leave something to be desired, but you're paying $3, don't complain. All in all the Crest is the perfect date when your netflix don't look as appealing as you want and going and renting a movie just doesn't sound romantic enough.
