For fans of groups such as Metallica, Godsmack, Korn, Kid Rock, etc., Z93 is the station to listen to. They play rock, hard rock, and some heavy metal. No pop or hip hop here! There is a morning show called Joe and the Poorboy, which consists of two guys telling rather bawdy jokes, making prank calls, and having goofy contests. If you have children... it's probably best you don't let them listen between 6 and 10 in the morning. Lynn Roberts, the midday DJ has a all request lunch hour called Lynn's lunch box from noon to 1. During the afternoon is the Hoser Radio Show (that's what the DJ goes by), there are 2 chances to win contests with Rock and Roll High School, and the Psycho CD At Three, and he has an all request hour from 5-6, called Hell Ride at 5. The evening DJ, Matt, has Nightly Nirvana at 7, and Mandatory Metallica at 10. The station also sponsors many events and concerts in the area, at places like Shooters and Hooters. Between the dj's, great music, and chances to win, you have many reasons to tune into Z93!
