My dishwasher just suddenly gave up the ghost...we have 5 kids and both work long, long hours so doing dishes by hand is out of the question these days. Time to find a new dishwasher! yeah! bleh...We are monetarily challenged despite our educations and hard work so the adventure begins.
We check out Conklin's first...very nice salesman. Super helpful and I know they usually have good prices but not what I am looking for.
Next, internet shopping...*theatrical sigh*
Then, Home Depot...very nice sales man and the washer we want...a lot more expensive than we were hoping. Have prices gone up THAT much in only 10 years? (the last time I bought a dishwasher)
Lowes...no thank you. I love hardware stores in general but Lowes was NOT on top of things for this purchase at this time...mediocre sales man as well.
Sears...nice sales guy but no dice.
Then we find The Maytag Store...!
Great sales lady...super knowledgeable and very, very nice. They HAVE the dishwasher we wanted at Home Depot BUT $50 cheaper! In the color we want? NO WAY! But YES!
Very good, fast and pleasant experience...not a single complaint:)
