Review content:
Perhaps the most important responsibility the doctor tor's office Receptionist has is creating a welcoming environment while greeting the patient. Unfortunately, this was not my experience at the Tepeyac Family Center.
I was greeted by a gal who was snotty,self-rightous, and full of attitude. I was 15 minutes early for my first appointment, but she made a snide remark to me that I should have arrived earlier to fill out papers. No one told me that I should arrive 30 minutes prior and 15 minutes was enough time for me. She pretended as if she could not find my appointment, so I suggested that I should leave or reschedule. Suddenly she found my appointment.
There was no other clients in this office at the time.
2. I was sent to an exam room at my appointed time to wait for the doctor. While waiting, with door open, I heard a woman in the back office ranting about other religions imposing themselves on HER Missiah's Christmas. It was an ugly, loud, ranting and disparageing of other faiths, especially the Jews. (Jesus's relatives I might add.
It was the most self-rightous, unchristian atmosphere I have ever encountered. I drove almost an hour to go to this pro-life center.
I will not do so again. I will stick to my neighborhood motley crew, "All About Women" . At least they are not hypocrits.
