Businiess name:  Cd Danza Salon & Spa
Review by:  Ruzielle G.
Review content:
my former masseuse moved to florida and a few months ago i was in dire need of a massage. i've lived in renton for almpst 5 years now so i decided maybe i should try CD Danza Salon and Spa. i called on a friday night for an appointment the next day and the front desk agent was able to squeeze me a really great spot (the first of the day). so i went in the spa half an hour before my appointment. the place was unbelievable. the decor was very tasteful and antiseptic. when i walked in, the front desk agent gave me some paperwork to sign and immediately offered me a drink. i ordered some water and after i returned my glass she asked if i wanted a refill (she even asked whether i wanted ice with my water or not, nice touch.) they had a huge selection of magazines and their couches were very comfortable so while i was waiting for Mac, the masseuse, i was just relaxing inside the salon. before the massage i received a warm footbath. it doesn't take long though, it lasted for about 5 minutes but i thought it was a great way to start a massage. the massage room: breathtaking. i've never been inside a classy spa before so i didn't know what to expect but the room just exceeded everything i would have thought about. the lights are dimmed and meditation music was playing. i was instructed to lay down in the massage bed and i was surpised to see that it had heating blankets. during my entire massage i was warm which is pretty much a good thing because it was a full body massage and my hands and feet are always cold. MAC: she was an amazing therapist. she asked me where my problem areas were and i told her my back but during the massage she quickly detected the tension on my shoulders and asked me whether she should concentrate on the knots on my shoulders and of course i said yes. she made small talk in the beginning but quickly stopped as she commenced the massage. conclusion: the massage was $70 for one hour, which is a standard rate in most day spas. they also offer deep tissue, reflexology, maternity and hot stone massages. i loved my session so much i can't wait to try out the aromatherapy massage next month. cons: the spa doesn't offer multiple massage packages which would have been a good thing because it saves money.
