Review content:
On the way to a wedding this past weekend, I knew we'd be travel near little known Centre Hall, PA. I've been looking for a particular cotton yarn to knit up some baby booties, and didn't have any luck at my local yarn store. So I decided to stop in at Knitter's Underground/ Weaver's loft and see if they had Brown sheep cotton fine.
Long story short -- they didn't. but they could order it--? i said no, i wasn't from the area, did they have anything similar i could look at? OF COURSE they did. i was shown no less than 5 suitable substitutes , all beautiful, and all quite affordable. i bought three different types of yarn (all gorgeous) -- one even required being spun off a big spool. it was fun. the employees were everyso helpful (as usual from when i used to live nearby... miss that!) and i wish i could have stayed longer- they have a TERRIFIC selection and their expertise is unparalleled.
