Review content:
First I'll start off by saying that most of the staff at the main library is nice and friendly (unfortunately this is not the case in my neighboring hometown of Newton). This is particularly true of the librarians in the Children's Room. The programs for children are creative, well organized, and well managed. The library also yas young adult events, senior events (like Senior Cinema), exhibits, discussion groups, etc. The display of new items right in the main lobby is also well done and easy to access. The meeting and facility rooms are in very good condition even though parts of the rest of the library are looking a little tired. Parking can be a hassle (there are meters all around, but sometimes you have to circle a bit). It's about a 5 minute walk from the Brookline Village T station.
