Review content:
When asked about great restaurants to eat in around the Shawnee area, I always suggest the Other Place in Olathe. As expected, I usually get the reply "What other place?" I then proceed to tell them it's a restaurant. I first discovered the Other Place when my parents took my brother and I out to dinner their one night, just randomly. At first I was a bit skeptical, as I was a bit young and had never been to a sports bar. (I know...kinda sad isn't it?) But I enjoyed myself greatly. I'd like to tell you the food is the best part, but it's not. The food is really good though. They have great pizza! (I suggest the taco pizza.) Or if you're more like me, I usually get chicken fingers and fries, because they have really good seasoned fries. But, moving on. The best part of the Other Place is the entertainment. They have over 20 TV's plus more, I just haven't had time to count them all. They usually have sports games on them, or races. But on some of the TV's they have a game network called Buzztime. You might have heard of it. On there you can play trivia games. Some nights, such a race nights, they even have race theme trivia where you can win money. If you're not a trivia kind of person, like my brother, they have Texas Hold 'Em. Even though he is only 12, he seems to have the best luck in the world and usually beats the guys at the bar in poker. See? I told you it was awesome!! I would keep rambling on, but you don't want to hear it, and I believe we may be going out to eat there soon anyways. Peace out! ^_^
