Review content:
I love it here. AU is a smaller private Christian school. It's a beautiful campus and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. I suppose the smaller size could be a drawback, but I LOVE having only 15-30 students in all my classes. It allows for more one-on-one time with the professors, and helps me pay attention. The dorms are old but decent (particularly the air-conditioned ones!). There are also four on-campus apartment building available, with the newest one having been built just a year ago in 2005. The classrooms are also old but well-kept for the most part and efficient. It's not necessarily as diverse as it's billed, but it's so welcoming and friendly that it's not a problem. As with most any school, people complain about this and that, but I think it's great. Also, some might say it's expensive, but I learned AU is actually much more liberal about handing out scholarships than most universities--It was cheaper for me to go here than Ball State, by far! My one qualm with AU is the Education Department, which is horribly unorganized. Everyone in the department will tell you something different, making it extremely frustrating to try to find out anything!
All in all, I'd highly, HIGHLY recommend this school (as long as you're not an Education Major).
