Just before the beginning of Fall semester, back in '97, my roommate and I took a few friends of ours to the Big Foot Rafting Co. in Willow Creek.
Generally, you drive your car to what they call the "takeout site". They pick you up and drive you back to the "put-in". So you end up at your car at the end of your trip down river. My friends and I spent a couple hours (or so it seemed) floating down the river, with one raft sporting our cooler. LOL A few times we definately hit some rough spots- flipped over, nearly slammed into some rocks, (lost some beer) etc. But I can't tell you how cool the experience was. I have never done anything like it before in my life, and haven't since. A day out enjoying nature, enjoying a famous river, getting some sun, and being with friends. I definately recommend it.
