Review content:
This restaurant is one of my favorite places for lunch in downtown Chicago. It's a serve-yourself place, but that shouldn't fool you. Fresh cooked pasta to order, salads mixed when you order them (I like to get tomatoes in my Caesar salad, and they always accommodate a special request because they're making it on the spot), and freshly made paninis and pizza. The staff is great and really learns their patrons and tastes. They serve up great pastries and coffee, too. One of my favorite things about Sopraffina is their flavored ice teas (strawberry-mint and orange-spice). This place is clean, has outdoor seating in good weather (overlooking a fountain), and offers a frequent diner card and frequent coffee purchaser card, both of which I have put to good use many times over. You can't do better than this for an outstanding Italian lunch.
