Review content:
They (and their sister store in Northbrook) carry a wide range of bicycles and accessories. They are associated with www.performancebike.com, a web portal for the same items.
I've bought items at this and the other store on several occasions, most recently today when I needed a replacement floor pump in a hurry.
One problem is that the stores and the website don't always have the same prices. Performance will do periodic mailing for store-only sales and the web site will not honor that unless the store is stocked out.
On the other hand, the stores will honor the web prices, if less, as long as you print off the ad and bring it in. Today, the store was having a 10% off everything sale. They honored the web price (29.99 instead of $49.99 before discount) on a Performance Hurricane Team Floor Pump and then they gave me the 10% off on the web price!
I have found the staff to be nice and knowledgeable.
I recommend them for accessories, although you would do well to check the web price first.
They have a nice selection of bicycles as well and so you should consider them if you want to get a new one.
