Review content:
My husband took my children out of town for a couple of days this week and I took advantage of the opportunity to do some things I normally am not able to do. I recently purchased a sewing machine and decided I needed to make something. So I headed into Hancock Fabrics and made a beeline for the pattern section. I looked through books and books of patterns, trying to find something stylish but very easy to make (I've never made an article of clothing). I found a couple of patterns I liked and the nice ladies at the store talked me through them. They covered everything from what fabrics to use to how to lay out the pattern pieces to tips on sewing the tricky parts. I was very pleased by how helpful they were.
