My wife and I stumbled across GameWorks while wandering the Woodfield Mall's outdoor mall. Wow, talk about a Showbiz Pizza for grown ups! The place was hopping but wasn't overly crowded. You can buy passes in dollar or time increments. I think it really depends on how crowded the place is-- for the Sunday afternoon when we were there, you'd get more money out of a time-based card. There's a ton of video games ranging from classic arcade and pinball to virtual reality and DDR, plus lots and lots of House of the Dead 1-4. There's also several bars and a restaurant, but we didn't eat/drink. Just a guess, but I bet the drinks aren't cheap. Lots of fun, just be aware of how much you're spending here.
