Review content:
Sept. 12, Scott Slone, He knows nothing about hair texture, style, proportion, balance. A picture is worth a thousand words but he can't even come close to copying a hair style from a photo. He is not obsservant as to what is flattering to customer's facial shape and features. I told him I didn't want a neckline cut. But that is exactly the shape cut I got. And it was way out of balance, the sides were longer than the top. He is not observant or a good listener as to what the customer requestes or what is flattering to the customer. He has no eye for style or skill to creat a flattering hair cut. He cut my hair with scissors first then proceeded to shred my baby fine hair with a razor. That made my hair fly-away, staticy and frizzy with all those split ends from the razor cut. Fine hair should never be cut with a razor. A hair dresser should never razor cut hair without asking the customer. It is over almost two months and I am still trying to grow out this mutilating hair cut. Don't trust Scott Slone to cut your hair. His card claims he is an "art director" but he needs to go back to class to learn balance, proportion, style and about different types of hair. He simply does not know hair. Do not trust the trained stylists at this shop unless they have been recommended by someone who has had great results. I walked in. Trusting me! I expected a "stylist" to give a flattering haircut. And never, never, ever go to Scott Slone. He is the worst of the worst. Anyone can cut hair but he is unable or unwilling to do a good job. All it takes is an observant hairdresser who listens to what the customers wants. He does neither. Dorothy Kantak
