Businiess name:  Rockford Riverhawks

Review content:
Rockford is kind of like the little brother to Chicago. Most people in Rockford resent the fact that they are as close to Chicago as they are and most people in Chicago treat Rockford like a red-headed stepchild. The fact is that Rockford is a very nice city all its own about 90 miles Northwest of Chicago. It is worth the drive to Rockford to watch minor league baseball and have fun for the whole family. The fun part about the Riverhawks this year is that they will be moving into a brand new stadium. I have not seen the newer stadium, but the initial word sounds pretty good and I look forward to attending a game this season. The Riverhawks are in the Frontier League. They have a great mascot and, quite honestly, they have some of the best players in the Frontier League. They are not affiliated with a major league team, but the caliber of play it generally a notch or two above the other Frontier League teams. Like most minor league teams they cram the time between innings with games for the kids. I wish I could give a more detailed account, but the new stadium has yet to officially open, so the way things were done last season may not be the way they are done this year. However, if you are looking for a bit of a road-trip and want to watch great playing at a reasonable price, the Riverhawks are the team to see.
