Review content:
On a recent trip to Wisconsin, we stayed here and really loved it. I would give it five stars except for their "pool" situation (more on that in a moment).
The rooms were comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Our suite had two televisions, cable, comfy beds and a living room area with a pull out sofa bed. The hotel lobby is lovely and they offer their guests FREE Internet usage (in the lobby and dining area) which is wonderful and very helpful. We had free cocktails and a nice breakfast the next morning. All for under $100 a night.
Right next door to the hotel is a great steakhouse (Branded Steer) and the city bus stops at the corner, which takes you right into downtown Milwaukee. The hotel is right off the Interstate which is so convenient.
The only downside has a "good news/bad news" story - the good news is that the pool is great, with a separate kid's pool and a jacuzzi. The bad news is that the weekend we stayed, the kids were out of control, running and screaming day and night (even at 10:30 p.m.) and basically "taking over" the pool area. Very annoying.
Overall, a great hotel and I will definitely be back!
