Ma Provence is a great choice for a special occasion. For me, it was a birthday celebration. Started out with two appetizers, the potato and leak soup and a special seafood stuffed crepe (it may no longer be available). The soup was incredible, a sumptuous, velvety texture and perfect flavor. Also generous in serving size. And the crepe was even better, one of the tastiest treats I've ever tried. The main courses were the flank steak and the pork. The pork came with mushrooms, which wasn't mentioned on the menu, so I switched dishes to get the flank steak. Prepared medium rare, it was very tasty. The noodles that came with it were a little less impressive, but still enjoyable. The pork was also very good, and the caramelized apple that came with it was outstanding. Ma Provence is also a good restaurant for desserts. We split a raspberry pie sliver; the size was generous and the raspberries were plump and sublime. Ma Provence is far from cheap. The prix fix menu is a good choice, and will cost you $33 for three courses. The service is attentive and professional. You won't go wrong choosing Ma Provence for a special night out on the town. Pros: Outstanding appetizers, delicious entres, good service Cons: Not cheap, no written dessert menu, limited seating, so make reservations
