The Newsroom on Roberston Blvd is a great eatery for vegetarians, something a lot of Los Angeles thinks it is, but really isn't. More often than not, there is only one or two items on the menu that a vegetarian can eat. Not so at the Newsroom, there are always plenty of choices and each is delicious, clearly made as a feature and not as a consolation, for those of us who don't munch flesh. All good stuff here, healthy and great-tasting. You can surf the web or check out a magazine while you wait for a table. I've read that this is a big celebrity hangout after-dark, but I have been there after-dark and had no such problems. I might have been there during a less popular time. Anyways, definitely one of top vegetarian spots in LA. Check it out.
