Review content:
I have lived in PS for over 7 years and within the last year the quality of the service has declined. The biggest problem has been crawly things that begin with R and rhyme with coaches. It is so bad, I guess, that they recently conducted an inspection of the entire building. This was the first time I've ever experienced this particular problem.
Other problems are: the property managers do not respond when you contact them. So if you want to actually speak to them, don't bother leaving a message. Let the receptionists know you need to speak to them directly. The company they hired to plow the snow did a horrible job. And for months they have been "repairing" the front entrance.
Oh and if you want an upgrade, such as a new stove, dishwasher, be sure to follow up with the property manager, because they will ignore your request.
Depending on which building your'e in (they have four high rises), the engineering crew can be very good or mediocre.
Some good things include: the buildings are near a bus and metra train line. The surrounding community is growing, so there are more shopping outlets available. Not too far from downtown Chicago (you can get downtown in minutes). The community is relatively safe, but one should always be cautious
If you're considering PS, I would recommend seeking other options if possible.
