Review content:
I have been at this hospital many times from emergency visits to tests and having my daughter admitted when she was an infant. If you end up going to the emergency room, be expected to wait. I have waited as long as two hours after being brought in from the ambulance with chest pains! Paitients were all over the place, some laying on stretchers in the hallway. It was a zoo! As far as the tests go, this seemed much less stressful. There wasn't a long wait and the technicians seemed very nice each time I had tests done. When my daughter was admitted as an infant I was very disappointed with the pediatric ward. The nurses were scarce and when I voiced my opinion about my daughter, they were curt telling me that they would "get to her when they had the time!!" It seemed very old and dirty to me at the time but they have since remodeled. The only reason that I went here in the first place is because her doctors would only go to this hospital. The parking is terrible and this hospital is not in a very good section of Bridgeport. I would never go there by myself at night. I think that while Bridgeport Hospital has the best doctos available, you should check with your doctor to see if they have privledges at St. Vincents Hospital which is also in Bridgeport but in a much nicer section of town.
