Review content:
After waiting 10 days for my order, I called to inquire about the status. I was told they had a computer virus, but the item was in stock in my local warehouse, and it would leave no later than the next day. After another week, I called back. This time, they said that my item was on back-order for another two weeks. This item may not arrive before I move. Order cancellations cost 40% restock charge (even if the item hasn't been made, isn't in storage, and definitely is not in transit). I feel like a hostage.
4-22-09 Update: I called the day after the latest date they told me it would ship. What a shock, it won't ship for yet another two weeks. I believe a cargo ship can cross the Pacific in less than 3 weeks.
5-4-09 Update: I received an e-mail asking if I still wanted my order?!? I actually thought pretty hard about this. They said it will be shipped "right away". I won't be holding my breath.
