Pennings Greenhouse is located on Route 94, going toward Salisbury Mills. They have a very friendly, family run business atmosphere. Unlike going to one of the big chain home improvement stores, here you receive personalized service. You can tell the owners want you coming back. This past fall, I went to Pennings shop to purchase bulbs to plant in the front yard of my new house. For a smaller shop, they had a nice variety of tulips, daffodils and crocuses. The crocuses have already bloomed and the daffodils now have buds on them! I plan to return in the coming weeks to purchase some annuals to plant along with these bulbs. The prices here are competitive with other greenhouses. The "big two" home improvement stores may have slightly cheaper prices, but I much prefer to support a local business like this one.
