Businiess name:  First Baptist Church

Review content:
Last August, I almost didn't send my little girl to her first day of preschool at First Baptist Church. Sure, my friends Vickie and Monique said their kids loved it there and learned a lot...but my Holly was so little, just 4, and I was afraid to send her off to school all by herself, even if was just for 3 hours a day...that was so long! How would she be? Would she cry for me? What if she got sick? My fears were all for nothing. Ms. Debbie's staff at FBC Preschool are outstanding. Most, if not all, of them are moms themselves. My daughter's teacher, Ms. Gina, has been teaching there for years, and she really knows what she's doing. She's organized and she handles the children firmly but lovingly. Holly has really blossomed since she began school here -- she's mastering social skills, she's learning how to write her letters and numbers, and all of this in a positive, Christian setting. Another nice thing is that on Tue., Wed., and Thu., you can leave your child there for "lunch bunch," an additional 2 hours of sack lunch and playtime, for an extra fee (which you pay the month AFTERWARD). They have "centers," they have cooking days, they do plays, and they have special parties. On Wednesdays they go to chapel and learn songs. The kids are very well taken care of. My last comment: I called the Livingston Parish School Board Gifted & Talented department, looking for their suggestions for preschools, and this was their top choice in the Denham Springs area. I think that says a lot. If you're looking for a preschool in Denham Springs, this is the place to go!
