Review content:
I have consistently been disappointed at this place. The level of service is sub-standard, the service is either arrogant, or there is lots of "fake cheerfulness" and customers get rushed. In addition, the massage rooms are tiny and the hallway is too narrow for two people to walk side-by-side. Their prices are fair, but overall it's definitely an experience to avoid. I had bought some gift certificates for a couple of my girlfriends before I went in myself, which turned out to be big mistake. It's only when I told them one day that I don't like this Spa at all, that they said they actually didn't either but didn't want to offend me since the certificates were gifts. Bottom line: There are so many good Spas in and around Chicago, why would anyone go there??? Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time and/or money at EGEA.
