My review of the other location: These drive thru stations are a great alternative from the many starbucks that you see all over town. With two drive thrus and staff that run out to start your order when there are cars in front of you the line moves very quickly. With the frequent buyer card you get that added bonus of working towards free coffees or pastries. And their pastries are some of the best in town too
Now what is different here: The location! At the corner of East and Esplanade this Java Detour is a lot easier to get in and out of. No road construction, no traffic from Chico High or Chico State. Plus the corner is a bit bigger so you don't have to worry about sticking out in traffic if you can't pull all the way in.
