Review content:
While considering a restaurant for a special family dinner recently, I remembered seeing ads for "Brazilian" steak houses during recent business trips. I recalled reading that such a "churrascaria" had opened in North Raleigh.
We proceeded to Rio Churrascaria with some hesitancy having not experienced the cocept and left 2 1/2 hours later blown away by the experience! The atmosphere, while somewhat loud, got us in the mood for South American cuisine. The salad bar was excellent and the variety and presentation of the meat entrees was awesome. The bacon-wrapped filets and the pork ribs were exceptional. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Come hungry and allow adequate time to sample as many of the meat dishes as you can handle. BTW, the mango topped cheescake was delicious.
Pros: excellent value, great atmosphere
