Found myself feeling peckish down on Melrose so I stopped in to El Guapo for a quick bite and a beer.
It was early (3ish) had the fish tacos they were delicious as a matter of fact I ordered a second helping. The prices were fair for both drinks and eats, and my bartender was very sweet. (Even when she was busy!) The crowd was cool with many pretty ladies and the music was a cool mix of current and older hits.
I ended up staying until nearly closing time. I have been there before for football and fightnights in the past and I like the updates they have made, from the music to the decor. I usually prefer to imbibe at my own pace but when I go with my boys beer pong can be a alot of fun. For a chill atmosphere where you don't have to break the bank for a goodtime El guapo is the place for me.
Pros: fair priced eats and drinks
Cons: I didn't see anyone in orange jumpsuits.
