Review content:
In the Kingstowne area, there's the Safeway, two Giants (one near Hayfield), and a Shopper's Food Warehouse (at intersection of Manchester and Beulah). The Safeway is my favorite in terms of produce and selection variety. They’ve expanded their organic offerings. The store is clean, the employees are actively friendly, and the cashier always asks if you want assistance carrying your groceries to your car. I haven’t taken them up on the offer, but it’s a nice service and I’ve never been asked at the other places. On top of this, there is an in store Starbucks so you can sip on a caramel macchiato as you wander the aisles. I’m not crazy about the set up of the pharmacy section in the middle; the layout is not intuitive and difficult to navigate. In general, this is where I prefer to do my shopping for special meals.
