Businiess name:  Eastchester Fish Gourmet Shop
Review by:  Pat B.
Review content:
This is one of the restaurants that I miss dearly since my family moved away from the area. Located in Eastchester near the Scarsdale border, it is a jewel. I began coming here when this was JUST a fish market--now it has teamed with a stylish restaurant just a few doors down and it's a winner. The menu at EFG changes frequently due to seasonal availability of fish which allows you to try something different. Fish preparation is superb here and the chef does an exceptional job. Try something like skate, dover sole or monkfish--complemented by unusual pairings of fruits, vegetables and herb essences all carefully orchestrated to bring out the wonderful flavor of the food. You can experience lunch or dinner here and there is also a decent wine list (heavy on whites because of the fish) which makes your meal a pleasure.
