I suspected this store would be more expensive than buying online, but we stopped in anyway to ask some questions and see some of the cameras up close. The woman who helped us (at the St. Peters location) was very unhelpful. She might have been knowledgeable, but didn't seem too keen to share any of that wisdom with us. As a matter of fact she just leaned on the counter staring at us the entire time.
To be fair, we complained about her and got a very quick response from the owner, who apologized and offered to help us in any way possible. Unfortunately for him, we had already found the camera we wanted online for much cheaper than offered at CC Camera.
I am sure the unhelpful employee was an exception, since others I've talked to seemed service-oriented. But their prices are always going to hurt them. Too bad as I would have liked to support a local business.
