My two experiences here were so amusingly unbelievable that I thought I must have chosen two bad days to go. Both times I was treated to bluntly rude that I couldn't figure out how a business with such horrible customer service could still be in business. But after seeing these other reviews, I know it wasn't just me. Why do people continue to go here? A coworker told me there was something strange with the hours/reservations/door opening, etc., but she couldn't remember the details. When I called Zinn's to get the scoop, the girl was rude. Apparently I was asking too many questions. Finally I said, "'I'm sorry, but if we are going to come to your restaurant, we just want to know what to expect." The girls response was, "I don't care if you come here or not. We don't need your business." And she hung up the phone. Obviously I'm the idiot for going there anyway, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and not judge the restaurant based on one girl answering the phone. Once there, I observed what I now think to be the 'mom', 'son', and 'daughter' treating everyone the same way. It wasn't so much what they said as it was how they acted. All three were snickering, rolling eyes, and showing disgusted expressions. My friends and I enjoyed the food enough that we just laughed off the poor service, and decided to give it another try a few months later. This time, 'mom' was nowhere to be seen. Instead, 'son' and 'daughter' out-did themselves with poor manners. 'Daughter' was so rude seating everyone that all of us in line were looking around wondering if anyone else was noticing. Finally the people in front of us said, "We've noticed their service going down hill for some time now." Once seated, the only interaction we got was 'son' taking order, delivering food, and then delivering the check, and all with a scow on his face. The food is good, but don't waste your time. It's not worth feeling like you are intruding the entire time you are in their presence.
