Review content:
I went to Wax Poetic on a recommendation. HUGE mistake. All I needed was a simple trim. The stylist did a wonderful job listening to what I wanted and did a wonderful job cutting it. However, I was charged $60 for a less than ten minute hair cut! The stylist didn't cut any type of style, just trimmed my hair! To add to that, the front desk receptionists were not particularly customer service orientated and the place seemed dirty. The ambiance is not that impressive. I have experience working in a salon and I know that rates can be adjusted to the level of difficulty of the cut. I felt used, and taken advantage of. My hair cut was not worth $60. Who wants to go to a salon where they try to jip you off? For the sole reason, I will not recommend any one to go to Wax Poetic. Pros: Qualtiy stylist Cons: Over-priced, dirty, impolite receptionists.
