Nomadic Notions has a great selection of beads and findings for the beginner jewelry maker, plus a very helpful staff, and a schedule of classes covering the gamut that run year round. The store is sensibly arranged by color, making it easy to find what you're looking for. That being said, it is pricey, especially if you compare it to prices you can easily get online for beads and findings, and though I understand why it costs more to run a physical retail store, I have a hard time paying the prices. Plus, I tend to like the bigger selection of vintage beads and environment at Bead It. But you should give it a try and see what you think.
