I wouldn't recommend purchasing a dog from Mi Rosa Kennels. It is my experience that they are a puppy mill not a reputable breeder. Apparently, Missouri has the most relaxed laws on dog breeding. I purchased a soft coated wheaten terrier from them who has the worst allergies that any of the 4 vets and 2 specialist I have seen have ever seen. We have spent over $8000 in less than a year taking care of our dog and MiRosa Kennels can not be reached by myself or my lawyer. I am just not willing to take a flight or drive to MO to press charges. Mi Rosa doesn't even return phone calls - they have their money and they are done. It is our vets opinion that the "breeder" had to know about and that a dog this sick is breed off of two very sick dogs.
