Review content:
I recently attended a wedding at the Ruby Ranch, and while they have a fantastic facility for indoor/outdoor weddings, I was very disappointed in the bedrooms adjacent to the reception hall. There are six rooms: Cambridge, Texas, Ruby, Austin, Safari and another one I can't recall at the moment, but all of the mattresses seemed to be about 20 years old. I sat on beds in four of the rooms and they would fold or roll one way or the other. Also, two rooms share a common bathroom and each toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months, each complete with a blackened ring from stagnant water. When showering the morning after the wedding I attended, I was the first up (6:00am) and there was NO hot water. The Texas Tuxedo Room, the exterior, the venue itself are perfect for a large wedding, but they definitely need to upgrade the mattresses and do a more thorough job of cleaning. The honeymoon suite is VERY cozy and very cute and the additional guest rooms seemed much more updated than the previously mentioned rooms. Otherwise, the Ruby Ranch is quite charming and the perfect set up for an indoor/outdoor wedding/reception.
Pros: Great size, indoor/outdoor, pretty.
Cons: Outdated/old mattresses and dirty bathrooms.
