Review content:
This is in reference to the Sears *vacuum cleaner department*.
I wanted a particular vacuum cleaner that was recommended by Consumer reports for hardwood floors. To save time with my search, I called area stores to locate it. The girl at Sears told me NO we do not carry it. She was very short with me on the phone. I searched online and Sears kept coming up as a retailer that carried the vacuum cleaner. I made the drive to the same Sears store that I called. Sure enough it was there. The same girl was there. I could tell by her voice and her attitude. She was just as rude in person. I asked her for the vacuum and she just rang it up, handed me the receipt and walked away. She never offered any information on the cleaner. She never even gave me the total of the sale. I paid via charge card. I received a phone call from Sears. It was an automated survey. I was asked if the machine was shown to me, if I was offered any service protection, etc. None of the items asked on the survey were done. I know these people work on commission. It frustrates me that she received commission for a sale she didn't deserve. On a side note--the vacuum cleaner is great! Over-all I like Sears. I just will not be purchasing from this department again.
