I love going to craft stores, I'll be honest. Michaels isn't as flashy (Joann's superstores) or bargain driven (AC Moore) as some places, but I like it anyhow. They have nice seasonal items and a liberal coupon acceptance policy.
On my last visit, I was looking for some doll accessories (I needed shoes, tights and a hat). While they didn't have the hat I was looking for (they did have lots of straw hats), they did have the shoes and tights. I was able to use two 40% off coupons I'd recieved in the mail (both were from competitors), for a grand purchase total of 2.96 :) They also are constantly running sales so you can get everything lower than retail, if you are patient.
I like that they carry different things from Joann's or AC Moore. It's nice to have choices. This location is always clean and bright, and the employees are very friendly and personable.
