I BELIEVE A TREND IS RE-FORMING IN THE SEATTLE AREA; HOW TO EXTRACT THE VERY HIGHEST DOLLAR AMOUNT FOR NOT ENOUGH FOOD...OH, AND GET AWAY WITH IT.
NOW IN THIS CASE, I WILL SAY THAT THE FOOD WAS OFF THE CHARTS DELICIOUS. HOWEVER, I DID MY OWN HOME TEST TO DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT THEIR SIZE-OF-MY-FIST SPINACH APPETIZER WITH PINE NUTS WAS ACTUALLY WORTH THE $ 9.
ANSWER- NOPE.
I MADE IT AT HOME FOR $ 2 AND DOUBLE THE SIZE...I GUESS I WAS PAYING FOR LABOR.
DON'T GET ME WRONG, I WILL SPEND EVERY NICKEL OF MY EARNING EXISTENCE ON DINING OUT--- I WILL---BUT THERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT JUST PLAIN MAKE ME PISSY. THIS WAS ONE OF THOSE TIMES.
ALL THAT ASIDE, "VOLTERRA," PROVED THAT THEIR AWARD WINNING CHEF DOES HAVE SOME CREATIVE SKILLS AND YOU CAN EAT THEM TOO.
JUST BE PREPARED TO ORDER AT LEAST 3 DISHES TO OBTAIN SATIATION.
