Review content:
Lynn Poage Incorporated has given us 20 of the worst months of our lives. He built our house and it had mold problems in the 5th month of the building stage. Improper drainage, no moisture barrier during building, no block sealing until after all the problems then just on one corner of the house, and not enough ventilation in the crawl space. This caused saturated moisture levels in the floor joist and sub-flooring, and since buckling, board separation, and creaking of the hardwood floors. We got the mold and moisture problems resolved with an outside contracting company which I forced him to pay part of out of his last draw. But we still have the hardwood floor problems and many other problems, but he has had his business phone disconnected, won't return our phone messages on his cell phone and had somebody else pickup a certified letter we sent. We've been trying to contact him for six months, we see him at his house and driving around so we know he still lives here. What I have put on this is a very short snapshot of our problems with him and his total disregard of his clients. I have pictures, certified letters, independent inspection reports, of all the problems we have had and are having with our house and him. We could have reach agreement on fixing the problems, but he has elected to ingnore us. The problems began early in the building process and he avoided us then as much as he could unless he wanted money. We moved in 10 months ago so he'll hide until the warranty expires. We do not recommend Lynn Poage Incorporated, but do recommend anyone that has had the same type problems file a complaint with the TN Contract Licensing Board so he can't do this to others. Pros: Some things were done well Cons: Total disregard of the client
