Upon coming to The Center, I was beyond nervous. I was unsure exactly what I was signing myself up for. After I arrived, the staff made daily efforts to make sure I felt welcomed and connected. The community was wonderful and helped me to not feel alone during this journey. Even being away from family, I was able to find a family within The Center community. The work done here is very intense but it has shown me there is no way to feel more free than to work through the intense feelings and emotions. I have gained so much insight into myself and the way/s my body and mind work. I would not have felt the hopefulness I feel now for my future if I had not decided to come to The Center. I am beyond thankful for everything done here at The Center. The staff and other clients are amazing. Regardless of how tough some days were here, there was always someone willing to listen and hear me out. My care team members here were all very engaged and cared a lot about helping me.
