I was hesitant coming to the Center because I truly felt like nothing would change no matter what I was working on. After spending 4 weeks at the Center, I had a breakthrough and felt as though things were coming into place. My personal team felt like a family. They were so focused on me and why I was here and what they could do to help me live a better life. I felt listened to and never felt judgement by anyone. It's amazing to see how coming together with others going through their own struggles can make such a big impact in such a short amount of time. Each class addressed some struggle I had each time and I really felt understood because I wasn't alone like I felt I had been. The teachers, counselors, and staff genuinely care about each individual and it is so clear to see.
