Review content:
I have been to The Center twice in the last year, and I would come several more times if I had to. Before coming to The Center I was caught up in my own head. I was striving to reach this level of perfection that it seemed like the ending kept being pushed farther and farther away. I could see the light at the end of the tunnel but every time I got closer it moved farther away. I felt so hopeless and had no self love. The thought of sitting alone made me panic because I knew when I was alone that is when the thought would rush in. I had so much dislike for myself that it was taking over my entire life.
Coming here really opened up my eyes and taught me many different ways to re route those negative thoughts, and how to challenge and ask myself if they were really true. The Center helped me understand that I am not my past. I am not my mistakes. That mistakes are okay, mistakes make us stronger.
